Extra virgin olive oil - Storing it

Olive oil should be stored in a dark, cool place away from natural light and heat

Putting your Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the fridge is a great way to extend the oil’s shelf life without affecting its aroma and flavour.

When refrigerated the olive oil may turn a bit cloudy and is perfectly normal and will return to its original state when put back into room temperature.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is naturally high in antioxidants and monounsaturated fats which means that it will stay fresher for longer and if stored properly as outlined above, it will retain its flavour and freshness.
