Harvesting

Our harvest season for the Inglewood area commences around March and continues to around May annually. Our harvest is carried out using mechanical harvesters called the Colossus that provide the most economical solution for large scale olive harvesting.

As you can see from our pictures,  the Colossus moves over the whole tree and it's pressure sensitive barrels move in and out of the branches very gently removing the olives from the tree, or as we like to say "tickling the olives" off the tree.

These olives fall into our collection bins which are then transported to our facility for processing within 12 hours to ensure the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced.
